Training & Careers
Our company supports attending classes and seminars for the purpose of attaining continuing education credits necessary to maintain professional engineer licensure. We also offer specialized in-house training classes thought by subject matter experts. Classes may be thought by current senior staff members, business partners, vendors, or outside entities.
The goal is to provide a well-rounded training program covering a broad spectrum of subjects such as QA/QC, specification writing, constructability, document control, construction management, scheduling, estimating, CAD modeling (Revit), design of systems including train control, communications and general industry basics.
In addition to periodic training classes we encourage senior staff to act as mentors to younger engineers to fully expose them to the intricacies of systems engineering, contract management, ethics, and human relations.
Locally to our headquarters in the San Francisco Bay Area, TSE has also invited BART to participate in Train Control training courses developed for its own staff and agencies. The training is offered free of charge to the agencies. In the last couple of years we have hosted three courses in which BART has participated. The first course was "Fundamentals of Signaling," the second course was "Interlocking Systems," and the third course was "Fundamentals of Train Control Design."
As part of TSE’s employee benefits, we have tuition reimbursement policies and also provide incentives to employees who obtain their PE registration.
